PENTICTON, BC

Penticton is a gorgeous city located in the Okanagan Valley, south of the province of British Columbia. It is one of the two cities in the world situated between two lakes – Skaha and Okanagan lakes. This strategically located community is home to tourists, and many homeowners are relocating to this exciting part of Canada. The population of the city is about 35,000 and the metro area is about 45,000. Most of the recreation centers in the city are just within distance from you. You can catch fun in Penticton all year round because there are fun activities to do in summer and winter. Skaha and Okanagan beaches feature almost 15 acres of premium, sandy beach and swimming areas. You can easily access the city by walking or biking, which is a good form of exercise.

Every Saturday from April to October, between 8:30 am and 1:00 pm, you can visit Main Street for the local market. All the products brought for sale are proudly made by local vendors. It is a good place to buy fresh fruits and vegetables, honey, eggs, handmade crafts, etc. Going to this event gives you the feeling of belonging to one happy family.

Since the city is surrounded by lakes, it is normal to have sand beaches in the area. If you enjoy going to beaches and taking part in water sports, you’d get them in abundance. For wine enthusiasts, there are dozens of wineries to tour in the area. There are also lakeside homes for those who wish to spend the rest of their lives in this paradise. EDUCATION IN PENTICTON

For parents who seek education for their children, there are primary and high schools in the city. While primary schools can be easily accessed by walking, it could be challenging to walk to high schools from your place of residence. As parents, if you care to use a private school, there are a few private schools in the area for your children’s education.

The Okanagan College and UBC Okanagan Campus are located in Kelowna which is just a few minutes away.
