WEST KELOWNA, BC

West Kelowna is a city located in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. The city was incorporated as Westside District Municipality in 2007. However, in 2009, the municipality was renamed West Kelowna. West Kelowna’s public education is under the School District 23 Central Okanagan. The only high school in the city is Mount Boucherie Senior Secondary School, serving students from Grades 9 to 12. The two middle schools in the city are Glenrosa Middle School and Constable Neil Bruce Middle School for students in Grades 6 through 8. There are 9 public elementary schools in the municipality including Glenrosa Elementary School, Rose Valley, Hudson Road, Shannon Lake, etc. There are also tertiary institutions in neighbouring Kelowna.
